Kim, when are you starting here? Spring Quarter, right?

I say, if you are worried about a teacher...you should try and wait it out. I know I hate Friday classes, but I say go for Issues and Problems in America. It will be interesting, the teacher is great, and you can still come home on weekends when you want to. My other votes are The Oceans and Intro to Creative Writing. I am sad to see that the teacher for Harlem Renaissance is unenthusiastic. WAIT on that one! haha. Don't let the teacher ruin the topic for you.

I love you dear. Happy Wednesday.

A friend told me that the classes re-rotate every six quarters. I think I'll hold out and see if Harlem gets a better teacher. Or just take Hemingway and Fitzgerald next time it's available. Also you have exactly predicted the classes I have decided on- The Oceans, Issues and Problems and Intro to CW

Lit 1... I'll probably take that too, same reason you are. EW. 8am class of DEEAAATTH. I can barely handle 9 or 9:30am classes every day. I'll just have to make sure I don't have early classes on tues/thurs.

I'd say yes to the oceans and issues and problems in america

as far as lit 1 it is EARLY in the a.m. and dahlin, you are not a morning person, however, taking it in the winter means it will be colder than it is now at 8 a.m. (and wetter, and darker, but I think you feel me). The biggest plus is that you speak scatterbrain very very well, so I think you'd do fine.

my vote would be intro to creative writing, perhaps starting on some one act radio plays which could be used ... later? (two birds/one stone) - and it is late enough that if the sun is going to appear, you might actually feel it.

I'd save Lit 1 til SpringQ, but then again, getting it OUT of the WAY has some appeal/in any case, you've got my support:)

Well, Mick told me I might want to hold out on Lit 1 till next fall. It's so early because they need a big auditorium and by next fall the new Humanities building will be finished, so it won't be an early class anymore. Also he said Intro to Creative Writing is awesome.
So, I think I am going to go with your suggestions and his. Intro to CW, Issues and Problems in America and The Oceans. Lots of GEs out of the way and have some fun to boot.
I love you!
