Would you buy stock in a company that announced the following semi-monthly ( with pride no less)?

  • Successfully cut revenues by over $420,000.00 a month.
    • that's $1.26 million a quarter or +$5 million a year.
  • Reduced it's United States customer base by 3%
  • Implied that the following months could see the same announcements

Losing 3% of your U.S. customer base, or in this case 30,000 of your customers, seems to be a substantial number.

My point was that most people don't trumpet their losses, and yet this company (Blizzard), does.

To me, it's a situation of cutting off your nose to spite your face. How far would they be willing to go?
