New semester, etc.

So, first day of classes. I had two today, Writing Short Fiction and Anthropology. I've been soooo slow on new books and new music.
Haven't picked up the new Guster cd.
Am reading Klosterman's "Sex, Drugs..." can't even remember the title. I am not too into him, he cares way too much about pop culture.
Anthropology is my major, so if you need any help along the way, I should be able to answer any questions. Btw, anthro is a science!

Ack! I phrased that part wrong. I meant counted as a science credit at PBCC. You have to take 6 credits' worth for the AA degree, and Antrho doesn't count towards it here. Which is unfair. But I'll definitely take you up on the offer if and/or when I need some help. It sounds pretty groovy, though, as far as I can tell!

I've been pretty slow on it, too. Alicia is usually the one to keep up with the books, so I just read any new ones she buys. Music, though, Cursive and Guster are the only new cds I've gotten in, like, six haircuts' time.

I think Klosterman's funny, though I have to skip the sports stuff. But I defintely agree with you. I kind of have to ignore his unhealthy obsession with pop culture and just read it for the fun of it. Because if I thought, as I'm reading one of his books, of how much he's obsessed with pop culture...well, I'd probably just read a different author with serious psychological issues.

And speaking of psych. issues, I've gotta get off of this before I get an ex-LJ addict relapse!
