May 28-High School Graduation. July 23rd-24 My first times seeing Altar Boyz and staying at Jen's house. September 3rd-Moved into school. November 5th-My 18th b-day

Living away from home

nothing major. nothing i had to go to the hospital for

the things i bought for my dorm. making puchases like that from the housewares department of target made me feel exceedingly adult.

well, once i had my steady paycheck, i funneled it into going to the city almost every other weekend.

any time i get to go into manhattan, even though i do it all the time now.

going out and about with my friends while we were all still home.

if i didn't get paid for it-i'd say work at the mall. but-i think i shouldn't have dwelled on certain things for as long as i did.

with my mom. we'll probably go see a movie like we did last year.

i fell in love with things-going out and expiriencing life. but i don't think i fell in love with any one person.

Less infighting between friends and family.

my aunt after she died. my mom and friends from home when i am at school. mary kate.
38. Who was the best new person you met?
i met a lot of new people this year. at orientation i met Jackie, who has quickly turned into one of my best friends. i only met kayleigh late last year/early this year. and over the summer i met some of the best people i know-Jen, Cristen, and Lori. you three have no idea how sane you kept me. i know i seem like i made a pretty good adjustment to living on my own, but i still go through my rough patches, and even though i just met you over the summer, it feels good to have at least a little bit of an anchor when i feel like i am going to drift away. i'm glad i became friends with you.
