1. yay about the mom. my roomate's boyf just went back to his rural tennessee family this november after about a year, and serious changes, just before his top surgery. it was crazy dramatic, but the fundamental christian mom was still welcoming, and it turned out ok in the end i think.

2. i saw aisler's set perform on a pirate ship in the Seine in 2001. the boat kept rocking and the amps fell over.
