I haven't had time to leave feedback to this for the three chapters before, but now that I have a small window of time... YOU JUST WORKED ONE OF MY BIGGEST KINK INTO AN AWESOME FIC! Time travel/looking back into the past/anything to do with changing fate = ♥

As always, your characterisation of each character is spot on. I can hear the Dowd, I can hear Patti (and giggled). And now I have to ask, will our favourite pesky first-year associate make a grand appearance? :D

LOL. That's quite possibly the best line I've ever read in a fic and is definitely a great Patti line. I can just hear her saying that to Eli. I love it and this fic, too!

That was like...one, big, giant "OH SNAP." moment. xD I love how you can recapture that initial animosity between Taylor and Matt (when we all know how wonderfully you write their current status, too), along with everyone else's pre-S2 characters. Really speaks for your talent as a writer that you can not only capture the characters but capture how they were at different points during the show.

(Believe me, there are plenty of writers out there who don't even bother putting half that effort into their work, and that just makes this even more of a treat to read.)

I kept waiting for him to run into Maggie, but now that I'm thinking on it...ho'shiz, if he didn't win that case and show he's starting to change, lawyer/person-wise, Maggie's gonna keep avoiding him, isn't she? D=

Hee, thank you! I must admit, going back to the days when Taylor disliked Matt was fun. Even if we only got to see a very small amount of that on the show - I figured he had met her well before then, being Jordan's daughter and all.

Yeah, so, the Maggie thing... that was never going to go well. ;-)

Oh yeah, definitely. It's all part of that backstory we know is there, even if they don't show s.

(Well, at least he didn't run up to her 'n snog/hug her, right? That would've been even worse than the "Yeah, so I know I asked you in here but...hey how's work? *i'msototallynotbsingmywaythroughthisbythewayiloveyou*" bit he pulled. xD)
