Why oh why must EVERY reality TV contestant in the US use the annoying phrase "throw [someone] under the bus"? It's so overused and abhorrent and I HATE IT.
. . .I want to say something witty to combat that, but I. . .got absolutely nothin'. Either you just broke my brain with lulz or I'm too tired and should get my ass to bed. xD
Is there a personal reason why that phrase is so abhorrant, or do you just find it stupid? xD
No, I haven't been hit by a bus myself which is why I find it so annoying. ;-)
I suppose it's no more graphic than saying to stab someone in the back when describing betrayal but STILL... I'm so sick of hearing it and hope it never finds its way into the Australian lexicon. Given how much US TV we get, I'm not hopeful.
