(Rofl, he was in an ep of Drop Dead Diva last season - as a client instead of a lawyer, though. But he was still so Dowdy, pre-Taylor/baby/up-growing, and every time he'd get that Dowd Smile I'd go: "Dude, Taylor. Stop being such a douche and go home to your baby/wife!" )
Honestly, I've not watched it - Mum has, and she likes it, but. . I just haven't been able to be interested (even if Lauren Grahm's in it, and I usually like her) - and after Zombie said it was a bit not so great (and now you are, too), I really had no desire to watch. :/
I can't watch Parenthood either. It's just not a fun show. Those people annoy me. (Well, except for Sam Jaeger, of course, but he's, as you said, not in it near enough.)
And, well, find a new show! There are actually a lot of good ones out right now. You should start watching Royal Pains and Drop Dead Diva. They're both awesome.
Or Leverage. :D I mean, I'm totally putting my vote in for Leverage - it's Burn Notice only better (and that's saying something, for me~).
Zombie's right, though - RP and DDD and both great shows, and DDD's got the lawyer angle working for it, too. I mean, there's only been like one or two musical numbers and nowhere near as Awesome as anything Eli ever saw, but still.

YAY!
Partly 'cause I love Dexter (even if I can't quite bring myself to finish season four, knowing the ending and all) and cause Johnny Lee Miller, yay!
Also, seriously, Where Have You Been?
