I'm reading this, and I'm wondering where you are and what you are doing. So where are you and what are you doing?

i am saddened by the fact that people look at you contempt. that is their foolish blunder. because lemme make something abundantly clear to you: you are not contemtible, or ugly, or disgusting, or vile, or even slightly discomforting. you are great. in every way. you hand scripts into people's hands in the halls nervously, muttering, "it's not done yet. it's not very good." and i wish i could ask to read them, but we haven't been that close this year and i don't know whether it will be awkward or not. you are a reader and a writer, which to me are two of the coolest things a person can be, no joke.

i know how shitty/uncomfortable it is to feel alone. please let's talk sometime?

h&s,
miko

i'm reading, too, and i'm sad that i didn't get to see you before you left for the middle-of-nowhere. and i think at least some of those people will come around, and if they don't, you will find someone there who realized how amazing you are. and you've visited reed, you'll find people there. i wish i could say something eloquent about the notexisting nonhuman feeling, i know it sucks--i haven't been in your shoes but i've had that, i've been incrediably isolated--but i'm not sure what i could say that could make anything better. i hope though, that you have at least a little time when you're in dc, 'cause i haven't seen you much at all since classes ended.
