So I just got back from Pancake City with this guy... who when I asked him what he wanted (to eat) said that all he wanted was me. Um...WTF. I had no idea how to respond. Had some wine. Fell asleep in class. All in all it was a good day. -

I got my two papers done and now I can relax. All I have for next week is a second draft of my senior seminar paper and journal entries for theory. And they're not due on the same day which takes a lot of pressure off ( Read more... ) -
It's amazing what a 2 hour nap can do.
I was at the library but my eyes were hurting way more than I could deal with so I went back to the apartment. I took my contacts out but there was still a lot of pain. I think it was just eye strain from staring at a computer for so long these las few days combined with being dehydrated and hung over from going out last night. If there's one item of clothing I absolutely love it's t-shirts. In fact, I'm going to be very very upset when I have to grow up and t-shirts no longer constitute a majority of my closet. Yesterday I went to the Harry S. Truman Museum. Tomorrow, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. Today? Nothing. I kind of wish I had taken a real vacation to somewhere but I don't know where I would've gone or with whom. A week at home is good too. Today I was on a quest to make marble magnets . Needless to say my efforts didn't turn out like the ones on the website. Mostly, I just bought the wrong glue because I couldn't find the right stuff. I'm going to try again tomorrow and see how it works out. Except for the not-staying-together thing, it's worked pretty well.
