History: Subject was born on 24th December 1983 in Okinawa, Japan to Tohru Magami and an unknown father. Though at the time, subject's mother had changed her name to 'Shirou' which is suspected to be the family name of subject's father. No records found on subject's father.
Subject was 'born for the world' and possesses great psychic powers mainly telekinesis. Subject was prophecied to have 'the power to change the world' and said to 'possess two futures'. Thus subject was named 'Kamui' which can mean either 'one who exercises the authority and majesty of God' or 'one who hunts the authority and majesty of God'. Subject was believed to have the power to choose either to be the 'Dragon of Heaven' to 'protect the present' or the 'Dragon of Earth' to 'wish for a revolution'.
As a child, subject and his mother moved around a lot. Subject was frequently bullied for being different and fatherless. When subject was 9, he moved to Tokyo where he became friends with Fuuma (10) and Kotori Monou (9), children of his mother's best friend, Saya and Kyouga Monou. Saya died that same year from giving birth to the 'first shinken' or 'Holy Sword' that 'Kamui' will wield during the 'Final Battle'. The 'Holy Sword' is alive and 'born of woman's flesh'.
Subject's mother immediately took subject back to Okinawa upon Saya's death and the 'Holy Sword' was kept and guarded at Togakushi Shrine where the Monou family lived till 'the promised day' in the year 1999.
Subject stayed in Okinawa till he was 16 years of age during which he was a juvenile delinquent who abused his powers until his mother reasoned with him after he was arrested. After which, subject stayed away from the street gangs and skipped school.
Subject's mother died in a mysterious fire at their house the same year. Subject watched his mother burn to death, unable to get to her due to a 'barrier' she had placed around her. Her dying words were for subject to: "Return to Tokyo and retrieve the Holy Sword." Subject's mother was later found to have sacrificed herself for subject as she was his and the Earth's 'kage-nie' (shadow sacrifice) who accepted all the pain and suffering in place of the one they have chosen to protect. (She burned to death coz of global warming....)
Subject returned to Tokyo as instructed and stayed away from his friends believing that if they got involved with him, they would die. Subject was prevented from retrieving the 'Holy Sword' by Kyouga Monou who subsequently died several days later when he was attacked by 'Nataku' who stole the 'Holy Sword' for 'the Dragon of Earth'.
A second 'Holy Sword' was later born from the body of subject's previously unknown aunt, Tokiko Magami. Kotori witnessed both her own mother's death and Tokiko's death, both of which are similar. This resulted in Kotori losing her mind and Kamui deciding that he would 'protect the place of Kotori and Fuuma's happiness'.
However, Fuuma turned out to be the subject's 'Twin Star' who would fill in the void left by subject's choice, thus Fuuma became 'the Kamui of the Dragon of Earth' who would hunt and kill 'the Kamui of the Dragon of Heaven'. Both 'Kamui' have six followers, the 'Seals' for the one of Heaven and the 'Angels' for the one of Earth. One requirement for a 'Seal' was the power to create a 'barrier'. This power is said to be drawn from the caster's will to protect someone or something. Subject was the only 'Seal' unable to do so yet he was their leader as he was 'Kamui'.
However, it was foreseen that the 'Kamui of the Dragon of Heaven' would lose and be killed by that of Earth. The first thing 'Kamui' (Fuuma) did was to make subject watch him kill Kotori. Kotori who had the potential to be a 'yumemi' or dreamseer, saw that 'the future has not been decided yet' and asked for Kakyou, one of the 'Angels' and also a 'yumemi' to pass the message to Kamui. Though Kakyou was supposed to be subject's enemy, he has on several occassions tried to help subject because of Kotori.
Subject was overwhelmed by the psychological trauma Fuuma's betrayal and Kotori's death, and withdrew into himself. He was later brought back by a 'Seal', Subaru Sumeragi, an onmyouji who had experienced events similar to subject's before. Subject grew rather close to Subaru.
Subaru's wish was to be killed by Seishirou Sakurazuka, who killed his twin sister, Hokuto. Subaru was in love with Seishirou. Subaru's wish did not come true as his sister had placed a spell on Seishirou that if he tried to kill Subaru in the same way he had kille her, the spell would reflect the action onto him instead. As a result, Subaru killed Seishirou after which he lost the will to live and to create a 'barrier'.
During the 'Final Battle', subject's 'Holy Sword' broke as he was not 'fully awakened'. Just as subject was about to be killed, Subaru having realised that there is still someone (subject) he wants to live for and protect, came and rescued him yet was heavily injured in the process. Subject then realised what he had to do to save everyone and protect the world.
The 'Kamui of the Dragon of Earth' grants wishes and subject realised that the wishes of the people who have died, namely his mother, his aunt and Kotori, live on in his own heart, so he passed his wish to protect the world onto 'Kamui' the moment the other pierced his heart with the 'Holy Sword'. At subject's moment of death, his full powers were released and he was finally able to summon a 'barrier' to protect his world.
We have retrieved subject's body and soul and revived him for experimentation purposes.

- Tests were carried on subject's blood and other bodily fluids in an attempt to find out what makes him different from other humans. Results so far have been inconclusive.
- Made to relive the most horrifying moments of his life to study his reaction. We had wanted to indue catatonia but was unsuccessful.
- Attempted to create an alternate personality within subject to test the 'two futures' theory. Subject was given brain surgery and so far it has been observed that subject now suffers from selective memory loss. Is this the sign of an emerging split-personality? Further tests will have to be carried out.
