swirling, whirling, and twirling out of control

Contrary to what the subject precludes, I am totally in control. It just sounded cool. I did go to the state fair today (with Leslie baby) though, at which I swirled, whirled, and twirled. The best ride was the gravitron. You lean against a vertical pad (no bars, harnesses, belts, nothing) and it spins so fast that you're pushed to the outside ( Read more... )

oooo it feels so weird on that ride. i haven't been on it in forever....but i do remember how hard it is to lift your head and when you do...it hurts to let it go back.

hehe, did anyone go upside-down right when the gravity thingy started to kick in?

no, have you seen someone go upside down? how would you get right-side up again without cracking your head? My parents said that ride used to drop the floor from under you, but ours didn't do that.

Yes, I hate when I make a great discovery and the boat i'm in crashes and I go back to being myself.

Wow, I wish I could've gone to Figi for a day and have a good story like that! :p

Also, that ride, and the way u described it, sounds like death...lol. That would not be fun in my opinion. Kudos to you for being so brave!!!!

Guess what...you CAN pull a me and go to prom with the Brazilian guy...CUZ I KNOW HIS HOST FAMILY!!!!! Remember my friend Lisa Santoro? He's staying with her family. He's a senior this year and his name is Joao (it translates to John). So I'm coming to your Brazilian wedding and then I'll go to Italy and see how Riccardo's doing! (He's coming back here for Christmas, did I tell u that?!?!)

Yeah so anyways, you're a big brave senior now! Even though it's a ton of work and mixed emotions, I guarantee it will also be the time of your life. You will grow so much. And you will also come and visit your awesome buddy Alison at EMU. :D

LOVE YOU MEGAN! Oh yeah, we're getting together b4 I leave on Sept 3 k? ;)

I love you too! (that's a definite yes to getting together)

omg, Brazillian prom here I come! Joao...so adorable. ;-P That's so cute Ricardo's coming for Christmas!! What a sweetie pie.

Italy is a little out of the way from Brazil you know, but our wedding could be in Europe...then it'd be closer ;-)

Yay for getting together! What time of day are you free?

I was assuming your wedding would be in Europe anyways, or at least the honeymoon so you could put me in your suitcase. I'm hoping to meet this guy before I leave, is he really cute? He plays soccer...haha (Imagine that, a European playing SOCCER?!?!?!) ;)

Ali, darling, Brazil is in South America. They all play soccer.

He was pretty cute from what I saw. I love that "I'm a confused foreigner" look that makes him look like a lost puppy.

If you meet him, I must meet him. Our only interaction thus far has been me: "Do you have an athletic pass?" him: "ath..letic pass?" (in a cute accent) and I looked at him across the room for a while. :-)
