Other than being a gripping murder mystery, The Da Vinci Code is a pretty worthless book. Don't waste your time. And by "gripping murder mystery" I mean "cliche suspense novel with a predictable ending, but, because of my sudden fear of night in the suburbs, whatever keeps me up until the sun also rises is ok by me".

this neighborhood's too quiet

hahaha! I should hope that I'm more well-read than that. Good grief.

The plotline was almost Scooby Doo in predictability. But I think the thing that I disliked most was that it's basically another conspiracy theory book.

Or, it could just be that I'm kind of in a "I hate pretty much everything right now" rut (I know, I know, when am I not, right?). Who knows?

(It still reeks of conspiracy theories, though)

I thought it was okay... it's definitely a book that appeals to the masses and has nothing too well-written going on there. I have some books for you if you want something new.

I think it's interesting that despite not being a genius piece of literature, he keeps getting called out for plagerism.

It's all good. I'll probably go to the bookstore again this week. :P Weekly bookstore trips are teh awesome.
