Back from quite the weekend. On Saturday I and Alex (friend and photographer from the Bay City Times) tagged along with Ryan down to Garden City for his cousin's graduation party. Thanks! Actually I've been published in GVSU's Lanthorn, so this isn't the 1st time, but 1st time for a magazine. It's still exciting though!

Congrats on being published! They're really good articles -- you're a very well spoken writer! And coincidentally, I ate at Daddy-O's two weekends ago for the first time. Their chili dogs are killer!

Uncle Steve says the story would be more exciting if you said you were "hit by a stray bullet off of Lake Erie" but anyway, did you complain to anyone?!? I would have at least expected reimbersement of entry fees. The magazine articles look pretty good even though I haven't read them yet...haha. I'll get to it....Happy 4th to you and the family.

HAHA, right! No, I didn't complain. I didn't really know who to complain to, and besides, I barely even bled or anything, so it wasn't that big of a deal to get up in someone's face about it.
