I'm a little disheartened today. My summer has been pretty different that I had hoped it would be, and I kinda started freaking out about it in my mind earlier. So I'm at Ryan's apt typing this out after a longish two days. We went to Tawas yesterday for the 1st ever Kite Festival, and it was pretty fun! It was a gorgeously hot day and we walked along the beach where the kites were being showcased and flown. There were stunt kites, small box kites, and huge kites in shapes of fish and other things. I was a good Samaritan today and helped an injured baby bird out of the road before it got ran over. I thought it had a broken foot or wing or something but it looked okay - just startled. Not sure why I'm updating, seeing as I really don't have anything to update about. Hmm. So here I sit, surrounded by most of my bedroom furniture that is smushed in the center of my room from my priming the walls.
