It sounds good to me.... the various therapies and things I mean:) If you find them helpful - is the acupuncture something you will have to have long-term?

That was the first time I'd done any yoga, so I think it'll be a while till I know how helpful it will be :-) The acupuncture happens as a group session once a week (with relaxation/meditation session after the needles go in), and operates on a sort of 'drop in' basis - again, I think it's something that will prove itself one way or another when I make it part of a regular routine. I've been to three sessions so far, but each several weeks apart, so I'm finding it difficult to gauge how helpful it is. I'm glad that it's available to me, anyway, however funny it seems to receive acupuncture free courtesy of Cardiff County Council!

I hope your weekend away proves to be a rewarding experience - and belated happy birthday!! :-)

Does it help I've never tried accupuncture, although I've tried most everything else: reiki, yoga, hypnosis, and herbalism.

New age Ceri eh!? When's your birthday hunny pie? Its very near isn't it I have such a bad memory. x

Not much more than an injection. But ten of 'em, five in each ear! brokenblossom November 10 2006, 23:53:51 UTC
Does it help? Weeeeell, I didn't go on a ten day vodka bender after I came out, so it can't be too bad!! ;-) Seriously though, it's hard to tell really, cos there's not been much consistency in my attendance, so I've not been able to 'settle into it' as t'were - I do want to attend the sessions on a more regular basis though to give it a proper chance ( ... )

Heh well that's something. Yeah stick at it, when I say I've tried those things I mean literally one session with some of them. The only one I've stuck with is herbalism, which helps a bit. I might go back to yoga when I find some beginners class.

Aw well if you need me to come round and do my best to cheer you up, on your birthday, let me know!I know what you mean though..

The eyes are hurting I've got conjunctivitus according to the doc today, three styes in two weeks and streaming eyes is probably what did it!Plus I still don't feel 100% from whatever virus got me. I'll try not to moan though! take care xx
