In my experience, random pukings are usually the result of one of those 1-day bug things - with any luck you'll be fine (at least physically...) by tomorrow. Never rains but it pours, does it?!

Oh, I do hope to be able to prove you right by tomorrow! :-) I'm feeling dizzy and headachey still, but mercifully my tum's stayed settled for the last few hours. Phew.

The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory. I picked it up from the library's discarded shelves a few months back, having a vague idea that it was a superior sort of historical love story - not quite Rose Tremain's Music and Silence, maybe, but a step up from Mills and Boon level writing, with enough period detail and courtly intrigue to sate my appetite for all things Tudor. I'm disappointed. I'm always up for a decent historical romp, and could do with some comfort reading, but I'm just not feeling this one. It reads to me like something written for the teen romance market, the literary equivalent of Tesco value white sliced bread, and given that I'm this
