Welcome back lady, you haf been missed! Nae worries on the catchups, I always get the OMGs about this but most people are very understanding about this kinda thing :) and if they aren't I will go and beat them up!

I am in a v quiet time of the year work wise, so am posting lots and reading lots but of course that's just me, so nae worries. Am mostly posting about telly and films I've been behind on seeing :)

Aww, shucks, I've missed you too :-) On the way to the camping destination w/ my dad, we passed a bunch of signs for the Dylan Thomas boat house &c. which made me think of you, and wish I had a car and driving skillz of my own to easily get to such places! I didn't dare suggest a detour there to mon pere, though, as it'd doubtless have ended in us getting lost for about 7 hours, such is his navigational brilliance... I don't know how he does it! The sat nav only seems to complicate things ( ... )

*nods* I getcha.

Yes, Meg does look a bit Discworldy! And yes Magrat is a total wet hen, with crazy uncontrollable hair. She's my second favourite witch, Nanny Ogg being my personal hero :)

I saw Billy Eliot t'other night and I realised how brilliant it is. I'd only ever caught fleeting bits and pieces of it before. But the sound track, the northern social realism, and the hope through tragedy story is ultimately uplifting!

Oh and I'm listening to Radio 2's Factory tribute thingy! x

ps Virgin really are arses when it comes to customer service.

Aww, glad you enjoyed it; I know I've seen bits of it before, but not sure I've actually managed to see it from start to finish yet either! Even though it's got one of my favourite Midlanders (Julie Walters) in it...

Heh, snap, so was I! Though I only came in about half way through, mid way into Stephen and Stuart talking about the Mondays - I'd been in the back garden trying to till the soil to the strains of Johnny Cash till 9ish. But at least (thanks to Virgin eventually getting off their inept ol' arses and sending an engineer round) I can Listen Again to it tomorrow :-) Woo yeah, radio on the internet...!

p.s. Fancy coming over some time soon to help me pick blackberries, and make/eat blackberry and apple crumble or summat similar? Or, y'know, not do that, but do something else instead?
