Overview
This role supports the design and development iShares.com, a web site dedicated to BGI's exchange traded funds. We are looking for a production specialist to ensure that the web site meets or exceeds requirements of internal and external clients in the U.S. This person will work on programs and projects to support client service and marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
The position will be responsible for daily web site operations including but not limited to:
First point of contact to resolve live iShares.com problems (escalation response)
Deploying and testing approved content to web sites in various content formats such as HTML, PDFs and PowerPoint files
QA testing as needed for larger projects, including service enhancements, direct marketing and advertising campaigns
Managing small- and medium-size web projects with BGI's internal IT department and agency partners
Managing content development and approval process with business, legal and compliance.
Requirements
Highly responsive with a strong dedication to client service.
Extremely detailed and organized.
Adherence to established coding standards.
Ability to prioritize and multitask across several projects with competing deadlines.
Ability to work well under tight and often-changing deadlines.
Team player able to work with business and technical people and proactively. communicate successes and roadblocks.
2-5 years of directly related experience.
Solid verbal and written communication skills.
General knowledge of HTML and XML.
Practical knowledge of TeamSite or other content publishing software.
Practical knowledge of Photoshop.
Financial web site experience.
BA/BS in a field related to marketing or business a plus.
