you're still in high school. your life, your real life, hasn't even started yet. you've been through some shit, and maybe you've learned a little bit here and there, but it's the same for everyone else. as far as your circumstances and situations are concerned, you are not unique or special. you have it no better or no worse than anyone else, you just have different cards in your hand. so grow up, get over yourself and the high school world you live in, and realize how lucky you are to be alive.

i meant that this person is going through the same kind of bullshit that everyone goes through. not that they themselves are not unique or special. just that their situation is not. i can understand how that statement could throw you off; i was worried about how to word that.:/
