yams aren't actually available stateside. we only have sweet potatos. Louisiana can call their sweet potatos "Louisiana Yams", but it's in name only.

yeah, real yams are from africa or some parts of the caribbean and whiskey is scotch in other places. We should go metric.

funny you should mention this cause on an Illustration field trip to RI today, after i got really baked driving around a beach, we went out to dinner, and they had sweet potatoe fries which were like THE BEST THING EVER.
