Finally got my taxes done today after fighting with city express to get my w2's since january. Now all I have to do is sign something and mail it off. The feds took $31 out of my return which is lame. They're just going to spend it on killing/torturing Iraqis, but at least you can't do too much damage with $31 ( Read more... ) -

kicking the caff day 3
This is my 3rd day on the caffeine freedom program I've put myself on. I've decided to wean myself off the caff. rather than go for the harsh cold turkey deal. Yesterday I got about about 135 mg of caffeine in contrast to my usual 480mg or so. (I used this chart to figure it all out). About that coffee
So my quitting coffee in order to focus more hasn't gone as good as I had hoped. After the drinking so much coffee on suday, I didn't get to bed until around 3 but I still had to draw up some plans for mark's kotatsu* so I awoke, quite reluctantly at 6 am and finished them up mostly. Arguing with Myself

Kensington Sucks. Lots.
Kensington sucks. They don't have replacement parts for my power adapter, namely a 3 foot piece of cable which broke sometime during the gabba party. (which rocked quite hard) It's a $3 part that would make my ac adapter functional again, but they don't have any, so now my $95 air/auto/ac adapter is useless. Jerks.
