So tonight I was downstairs talking with my mother about love and the such. We were talking about how you know when he is the one, and we got onto the topic of weddings. I was saying how great it was that Melissa got to have both of our grandmas at her wedding and how I would really love it if Grandma Smith was able to come to mine when the time

Ugh, my dad says the same stuff. He always says, "Well, you know, when people get older their health worsens, and so they won't be around much longer. It's the way of life." I just want to punch him every time he says it, but I think it's his odd way of coping. Just do what I do with my father...give him a deaf ear because it sounds like he's just talking to hear his own voice. *winks*
