i've had this theory for a few years now and was just getting ready to write about it here. i've been writing in my head for maybe a month now. about death and the parent-less children it leaves behind. but in light of recent events, i think i'll hold off a little longer ( Read more... )

Don't 'stupid hormones' it. There's nothing wrong with feeling empathy towards someone else's loss. I've been that way a lot lately, when I find out someone I know loses a loved one. Once you lose someone, you understand their pain, and sometimes I end up reliving it again if they lose their loved one in the same manner. It hurts, but it's a constant reminder for me to remind my family/friends how much I love them, and each day is precious.

I don't think there's anything wrong with being empathetic with Alex. It's natural.

That being said, I'm looking forward to hearing that theory... Even if it is sad.
