The idea of listening to only one cd for the rest of what's left of my life would drive me out of my mind! So yeah, you're dead on with a mixed music compilation to be assured..that could be the only poss. way I could do it and like it'd have to be 500 hours long lol.. Question for you though..you're up awfully late, everything cool?
Everything's fine. :) I'm just avoiding sleep because I have an appointment at the neuro-ophthalmologist's tomorrow. Which I'm dreading.
Thank you for asking, though. :)
Once you get to know me, you won't find it strange that I'm up until four in the morning, haha. I do it every time I have the chance. Especially if I don't have class. It's an unhealthy, yet unavoidable habit.
Well good. I'm glad to hear it's normal for you to be up late, so next time I see another late night post I won't trip. :) However, the neuro-opthamolgist appt. doesn't sound so hot. If it's not pushing any personal buttons maybe you can tell me why you'd be seeing such a physician sometime, I'm really really interested. Actually, I'm totally tripping because..well check this out. The reason I'm up late besides the fact that I'm a bit of an insomniac is because my grandson, he's only 9 months old, was born with an eye condition called Nystagmus. Basically what that means is that he's partially blind. He has mostly only peripheral vision. He can't see things that are in front of him worth a shit. Depth and static perception are all thrown off
( ... )
Is it something they think can be fixed? And no need to apologize! It's completely relevant to what I'm going through, haha.
I've been seeing the neuro-ophthalmologist since last year because they discovered that my optic nerves are swollen. It's called Pseudo Tumor Cerebri. It's something that a lot of overweight girls and young women of child-bearing age get, yet nothing is really known about it except for that fact.
And all I can do about it is lose weight and take these pills that upset my stomach. It's really frustrating, and I hate going there because I have to go through all these tests just for them to tell me to lose weight and up the dosage on my medication.
