Well, I'm in an interesting place right now--not physically, the support desk, despite its recent remodel, remains relatively unchanged--but I think emotionally....But then again, I feel like it's more than emotionally-based. I've never contended that online journaling about one's feelings is the best way to convey them or get them out, but I am missing a considerable outlet of my feelings.
In the past few days, some ties have been cut, and I'm not able to speculate as to how important those ties were, or if they have just been given the illusion of being cut. What a confusing matter. But, again, I'm not about to pour my heart out only to look at it weeks later and wonder what the hell I was so worried about, or how good I had it.
Instead, how about a brief entry about what I am up to these days. Most recently, I have been attempting to become more social--you know, meet people go to functions, etc--while balancing my school work. I would be lying if I said I have had a lot of trouble doing so. I am still confident in my ability to get things done promptly and correctly, as well as keeping a relatively busy social calendar (there really isn't one...but making stuff up to do on the spot still counts, right?). My job for the summer is in line again, this means its to commuter life for me. I am toying with the idea of spending more time downtown this year, getting a gym membership, maybe moving a mattress and a bunch of clothes to Graham's place. He doesn't know about that yet, but we'll negotiate later. Zion comes back from lux on May 13th, which is at the tail end of LeaderShape, meaning I'll be in Ohio then. Maybe I should spend another day down here to putz around with him, we'll see.
All that crap aside, here's the list-o-summer:
+ 24 hr diners (Pick Me Up, anyone?)
+ Commuting (ie reading, music, time to think)
+ Being busy
+ Decent shows, finally
+ Going camping in the Dunes of Michigan with the Beck-Beck, Darland and whoever wants to come along
+ Cottage, wakeboarding, lazin'
+ going to New Jersey and New York sometime to see Zee and the new one!
+ joining a gym
+ outfitting myself for Luxembourg
+ longboarding
+ attempting to track down the Italian Stallion, C-dub and anyone else that's been AWOL like whoa.
