It's reading week, and it's also the first week of the Winter Olympics, so I've been lying on the couch since Friday night watching CTV's horribly self-congratulatory coverage and knitting a lace shawl. It has been mostly relaxing so far. I'm sick to death of the fucking theme song, but I'm utterly charmed by the Norwegian curling team's pants

no, the school was totally empty all weekend... no security, no nothing. i went on monday morning and no one was there -- the space is half rented out to private companies (solicitors mostly), and even they were fucked over.

got up at 7am on tuesday though -- got in with no problems.

FUCK YEAH vacations!

I am thoroughly on vacation: yesterday we went to Guelph and played video games and ate candy for 12 hours! The day before we lounged around all day! Today we watched TV and then I actually did a little work, and now we are watching TV again as a reward.

I went to the library today to pick up a book I had on hold, and then I came right home afterwards. That sorta felt like work!

Vacation schoolwork is terrible! I bought a CHAI LATTE and sat in the Starbucks across the street with no internet to force myself to work! Otherwise it would not even have happened :(
