Erik rose a slight brow at the tone not sure what was up the telepath's sleeve. Moving into the room he takes a seat at the desk. "What is it you needed, Charles?"

The door was pulled shut more harshly than it needed to be, Charles' frustrations bleeding out through his carefully constructed calm. He moved to stand between the desk and the chair Erik was seated upon, arms crossed over his chest, brows drawn together. He leaned against the edge of the desk as he stared Erik down.

"Your actions of late are inexcusable, Erik. You can not continue to do as you please with such disregard to the way it affects those around you."

That door shutting that harshly almost reminded him of the days he'd angered Shaw. But that is put out of his mind and he shakes his head at those words. "My actions are just fine, Charles. There's nothing wrong with them like you seem to think there is."

"Quiet." The reply was short and clipped, nothing like Charles' usual demeanor. He raised a hand to his head, pinching the bridge of his nose with a sigh. Slowly dropping his hand, Charles crossed his arms again, frowning at Erik.

"You are reckless, you act with little regard to the consequences toward others, or even toward yourself. I will not allow you to continue putting yourself and others in danger because you refuse to listen to anyone but yourself. You need to learn to follow orders." The frown remained, set and firm on his lips, though his eyes betrayed deep considerations still going on beneath his outward appearance.
