At my back I always hear...

We did the maths:

Lily is now the same age that I was when I first met Lily.

Salient to this: many of you are older than me.

You are all very, very old.

Very, very old.

Hell week at work (we're being audited by the Education Review Office - all normal stuff, but involves a huge amount of work) means that I have been lax about getting in contact. Also means that I might have to spend tomorrow night hunched over my desk desperately catching up with work I am behind on, I'm not currently sure. But I will definitely see you while you are over.

I'm turning 27 in a few weeks. While it's a non-event age in of itself, it's awfully close to 30. And I'm planning on going to University next year - ten years after I finished high school.

I keep feeling like the Universe is trying to tell me I'm an adult now, but I'm not feeling it - I just feel like a kid who's started getting old.

That's what being an adult feels like...

I think all this equation proves is that it is, in fact, ME that is old now.

The rest of you, on the other hand? Well. You're all ancient.

Ughhhhhhhhh, that scares me. It's a blatant illustration of just how "not young" I am now...

For bonus points - the amount of time in between "Grease" and "Pulp Fiction" is now the same length of time since "Forrest Gump" to now.
