I mean, that makes sense to me, I just didn't think the show really ever stated that, so I don't want to give the show or any credit when it didn't make it clear that that's what was going on? Especially since none of the other characters seemed to have that extreme difference in character. But it's irrelevant at this point since David is no more, thankfully! And luckily my dislike of him didn't affect my enjoyment of Charming at all.
Ugh, David was the worst, right? It was made even more annoying because we got to see how awesome he could be when he was charming. But I guess the point was to contrast them and have them cursed, but ugh still, THE WORST.
ugh, I know!!! It's ridiculous how much more I enjoyed Charming than I did David. And, like... it makes sense for him to be so awful if it was because of the curse or to contrast him and Charming, but I never really felt like the show was making it clear that it was because of the curse that he was so awful, so he still just really bugged me. But thankfully we just have Charming, now!
OH GOSH OUAT SHOW OF MY HEAAAAAAAAAAAAART ♥♥♥ It is flawed and incredibly cheesy but ugh, I love it so much. I can't even put into words how much I do but it just brings me all the joy in the world and I can talk about it for hours on end and yesssss. Also the fact that the cast and crew are so excited about it and love it so much is super infectious.
I'M SO GLAD YOU LOVE EMMA. She gets a lot of undeserved hate in this fandom (well, this fandom is just complicated and messed up in general some of the time but) and I love heeeeeeeeeeeer. I'm actually going to be her for Halloween! The scene you mentioned (with her and August in the forest) is one of my absolute favorite Emma moments ever because it is so telling for her character. I've loved her since day one but I definitely keep falling more and more in love with her. She just gives me all the feelings (well, not all, but I'll get there
( ... )
OKAY GOOD BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT I WANT TO DO ALL THE TIME :D :D :D
Yeaaaaah. I mean, there are pockets of this fandom that are really great and I've made some friends who are really positive about the show and fun to discuss with but ultimately I tend to avoid most of it (especially at ontd-ouat which I really just follow for the news). I'm starting to think that August/Emma isn't going to turn out to be a romantic ship which bums me out but as long as they don't do anything bad to August and he sticks around, I think I'll be okay. Also I'm kind of shipping Emma/Mystery Man aka Bae already so there's that too. XD
Yes, I'm super super excited for this weekend's episode! All the sneak peeks and everything are making me really impatient! I just love this show so much.
I think his episode is the one following this weekend? And we might see him this weekend? I'm not 100% but I think we'll finally get our answer soon which should be great!
ugh, I'll be disappointed if they never explore August/Emma romantically (although at this point, I mostly just want him to be in episodes again!). Which is funny considering I was kind of set against them when he was first introduced. But I could be up for Emma/Mystery Man aka Bae.
God damnit do I have to give Once Upon a Time another try?
I LOVED Safety Not Guaranteed! I WAS FIST PUMPING RIGHT ALONG WITH NICK MILLER AT THE END. I like that the movie was a little bit messy and joyous at the same time.
haha, idk, how far into the show did you get? I do think the 2nd half of the season was a lot more interesting to me than the first half (especially because the love triangle stuff between David, Mary Margaret, and Kathryn was done with by the midseason point, and they backed off on the Mary Margaret/David stuff a lot in that last like third of the season, from what I can remember, although it's possible I'm just blocking some of those scenes from my memory). And I do think it was a lot more enjoyable in marathoned format than if I had to wait a week for each episode. But there are just a lot of characters I really enjoy, and the show is so lady-focused, and I love fairy tales, and it's just charming and enjoyable (for the most part), so idk. I think it's worth watching, but I won't pretend it's perfect or flawless or anything!
ugh, right???? IT WAS SO GREAT!!!!! I was expecting to like it, but not to fall for it as much as I did. THE END WAS THE MOST EXCELLENT, UGHHH.
