EXACTLY!!! Walt definitely cared for Jesse in his own way, but I agree with Bryan Cranston that the moment when he found out Jesse was working with Hank was absolutely the last straw for him. HE COULD HAVE LET JESSE ESCAPE THE NAZIS, BUT INSTEAD HE SPECIFICALLY POINTED HIM OUT TO THEM. I don't see any reason that he would've changed his mind about wanting Jesse dead or at the very least not caring about his continued existence since then. I don't think that if he saw him he would try to kill him, but I also definitely don't think he has any incentive to want to try to SAVE him

Oh man!!! Breaking Bad!!! I don't want to make predictions for it because I'm sure that I'll be wrong since this show never does anything predictable, but anyone saying that Walt is going to save Jesse is just delusional. I do hope Jesse makes it out alive, or at the very least, doesn't die at the hands of Walt, but like you said, maybe it's better if he doesn't. Put him out of his misery like a dying animal, lol. But I can't wait to see how it ends!!!!
I know, same here! This season has definitely not gone how I expected it would from the start, and I really have no clue how it's going to end. But yeah, Walt going back for the purpose of saving Jesse makes literally zero sense based on everything that's happened between them the past few episodes. I really can't wait for the finale, but I'm also dreading it because I don't want the show to end! I mean, I think it's great that they're going out on a high note and on their own terms, but it's just going to be really sad not having such a quality show on the air anymore.
You haven't missed much by giving up on HIMYM. At this point I am sticking with it because I've invested all the time and the end of nigh.
Oh and yes, the BBC have given Abi Morgan a new series. In my dream scenario she would just cast everyone from The Hour and continue the plot, lol. WHO CARES ABOUT CONTEXT.
I actually ended up watching the premiere of HIMYM, and I was pretty pleased! I mean, there was plenty to dislike, but it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be, and I think I like the mother enough that I want to watch the season to get more of her. I DEFINITELY have no intentions of getting caught up on the past 2 seasons, though! I could tell just from the premiere that I didn't miss anything.
OH GOOD!!!! I'm so glad; I wasn't aware she had already been given something new! I am definitely excited to see what she comes up with next, although if she could just recast everyone from The Hour and resume that story, I would be totally fine with that!!!
Yeah the past few seasons of HIMYM have been working towards the wedding so you really don't need the backstory there. I have to admit I like the mother though so that is what has been sticking through it.
Oddly the announced Abi Morgan's new programme the day AFTER she won her Emmy -- interesting timing!
This is COMPLETELY UNRELATED but pro-tip do not watch Oculus with Karen Gillan and Katee Sackhoff, it is a good movie but if you find ghoulish mirrors scary it is the MOST TRAUMATIZING. Anyway. I tend to find mirror-based horror fairly creepy too, and it looks like Sleepy Hollow is using some of that. I didn't really find Serilda very creepy or compelling, but there was so much stuff jammed into this episode that we didn't really have time to care about that part of the episode anyway (the pilot was packed too, but it worked better in that episode). I was 'meh' on the plot but everything else was super great so I'm still way, way into this show.
I haven't watched HIMYM for a couple of seasons (I want to say season 4?), but man Cristin and Josh are SO DARLING together I want to die.
I've been through the grad school application process and HERE FOR YOU BABE ♥.
THANK YOU FOR THE TIP! Definitely not going to watch that anytime soon. Serilda on her own wasn't creepy, but yeah, everything with mirrors and with the weird demon thing is pretty damn creepy. I definitely feel similarly that despite not caring about the plot in this episode at all, I'm still super enthusiastic about the show. ICHABOD AND ABBIE ARE JUST DELIGHTFUL. It's pretty much like Elementary for me, where most of the time I really don't care about the case of the week at all, but the interaction between Sherlock and Joan is more than enough for me
