aww!! hmm..lets see, just get involved in alot of things, you meet tons of upperclassmen and get to know the HS a little better. so get involved in drama or dance, cause i know your interested in that stuff. and do what you need to, don't slack off. just get used to working hard, its a big change, but it will help if you start in freshman yr. but don't sweat bad grades if you get them, cause freshman year really is more of a year for getting used to highschool. my freshman yr was personally hell because my dad lost his job and stuff, so my other piece of advice for you is DON'T look at my journal entries from freshman year...haha you'll be fine...i survived :D
um advice, see i hated freshman year, things i learned way to late was, be yourself, stay what you are, dont listen to what others have to say [if its bad about you] youre better than them. and when i entered highschool it was all about wanting to make new friends at school and having crushes on high school guys, i just graduated this past may, and i left with going to alot of concerts, meeting lots of bands, having crushes on rockstars and not high school boys, and i met tons of friends my senior year just as shows alone. i also met cool people at school my senior year. i met my friend sara and kevin, basically i think it was because i was the only senior who know who allister and alkaline trio were. haha. well much love and much luck we kept it safe and slow the quiet things that no one ever knows
okay. well. it is quite nervous! trust me; but try not to think about it! it's not that bad when you keep your head held high and just keep your mind occupied on your studies. i did keep myself busy. i got involved in acitivities and made friends and stuff like that. don't be shy. it's not like intermediate/middle school. people aren't going to start conversation with you any more. you have to take the initiative! and that's not a bad thing! it'll get you used to talking to people, it'll make high school so much easier! if you want more advice, we'll talk later but i gotta jet, it's storming really badly!
Thanks for the advice guys!!! I know I'm going to have plenty of friends that I can trust, because of the fact that I'm on the cheerleading squad, so I've got my junior/senior friends on varsity. But I hate most of the people at my school. I'm mostly scared of getting initiated. The seniors LOVE to do that to the freshman, especially girls. So that's my biggest worry. I'm sure I'll be ok after the first few weeks, but I'm SO scared of that first day.
