My phone calls to Brian still don't go through. I feel horrible. He called me while I was visiting colleges and I said I couldn't talk because of long distance, etc. His voice is so comforting and I miss it's raspy druggieness and I really hope he's alive and well. That's it. Have tons of hurricane fun.

My implant fell out today. That hurt. Then I got to feel them scrape the hole left there to clean it. That was definitely painful. Note to self: never let anyone drill a hole in your bones and then scrape around to remove all particles and liquid, it feels bad ( Read more... )

The hurricane sucked. My house flooded a bit. My new house, of course, because that's where I live now. My mom and I have kick ass neighbors. The superintendent guy gave us wine. On Sunday I went to mass at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation. I loved it. The minister is female and the topic was how Christian Fundamentalists (not to be confused with moderate Christians) are forming mega-Churches and have close ties to the president.
