It's good to know that in such a trying environment, the people whose purpose it is to guide us will give up on us too.

After all, the Barge exists to fulfill warden deals and keep them comfortable if they want a nice vacation from their own worlds. Not to give anyone a second chance.

I suppose you're just ahead of the times, in any case. None of us deserve it.

It's confusing, though. Not the fact that I'm in a book - it's that so much of it is inaccurate. For starters, it's set in the early '80s. I was in grade school at the time. [There are a whole bunch of other inaccuracies too, but that really jumps out.]
