he's jealous and he sees something in you that attracts him to you, perhaps it is understanding. he knows that you know how he feels. he simply can not admit to it. he is not jealous necessarily, he is simply hurt and is some fucked up way reaching out to you. embrace him. he will stop being an ass, more than likely. tell him point-blank, stop insulting me and my friends and you can hang out with us. perhaps his parents never showed him how to be nice to people and how to properly interact with others. perhaps they were never around. anyways, embrace him. ask him how his week, weekend, day etc...was, start off small with stupid idle chit-chat. just be nice. or ignore him, if your being nice does not work. love you.
