Hey, did you know that tree pics number 3-6 used to be in Scotts Vally just outside Santa Cruz around 1940 when ther man who grew them ran a park attraction called, "The Land that Time Forgot" ?

Yeah, I was reading that those trees originally grew elsewhere. :) I've been to Bonfonte Gardens before. They look like they've been there since forever, but I guess if you have enough money, you can afford to move - if not mountains, then at least trees. :)

WTF how the heck do you hit a single one tree that is surrounded by 250 miles of desert unless you meant to do it to be an ass.

I don't believe the guy was that drunk, sounds like an excuse for vandalism or wreckless chaos to me.

As to amazing trees I have to say they forgot to add the Petrified forest in Colorado to the list as though they are not alive now they were trees turned to stone to have everlasting endurance.

I love the Bonfante Gardens' trees. My father built some of the structures there in the early 90's. He would bring home pictures of those trees as they were being delivered and unpacked. I still need to go there to see them in person.
