Albums to listen to this year....

So, one of my New Years Resolutions is to listen to more music. Expand my musical horizons, blah blah blah... I've had my friend give me ONE album they think I should listen to, and I will listen to it to see if I like it. Here's what I go so far

I have the Snow Patrol, Dresden Dolls and Regina Spektor albums if you wanna borrow them. Actually Snow Patrol is downloaded to my laptop so I'd have to email you the files, but still, the offer is there :)

I'd also say Amanda Palmer - Who Killed Amanda Palmer...at least if you liked her voice from The Dresden Dolls. She does write some epic songs...and she covered Radiohead's "Creep" on the ukulele.

Well, if I preface each group by saying "Musical Act", I can understand how you can be confused as to whether it is a "musical act" or an album. Basically pick anything from any one of those groups and you will have good times.

Pick at least one album for me, love. It'll just make thing easier to find.

If you have any of these albums, either in CD form or downloaded to your computer, that'd be excellent and I could copy them to my laptop the next time I'm around.
