why is it that when people play the piano, they feel they have to be dramatic about it? it looks like they're having a schizophrenic seizure.

Yeah, the same thing with drummers. Do you remember the video "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC? The drummer looks insane in that video.

... but one time i went to a concert and this middle-aged man played chopsticks so dramatically that his head ended up in his lap by the end of the song. it was funny. people are weird.

I noticed that same thing. i also noticed people that play blues and stuff like to make weird faces when they hit ceartain notes. it's like it hurts them or something.
