Penny was standing of his mother's house, her hands sweating, her knees shaking. He told her he wouldn't be here but Mary Cooper was the only person that Sheldon trusted the most. She was his mom and she probably knew where he was. So she knocked on the door three times and waited. Mary opened the door with a big smile on her face.
"Missy, is that you?"
She stopped dead at the view of Penny
‘Hi Mrs Cooper, you remember me?’ Penny asked, her voice light.
‘Of course I remember sweetheart, you’re Penny. You live across the hall’
Penny nodded quietly, attempting a smile.
‘Mrs Cooper, do you know where Sheldon is?’
Mary widened her eyes and smiled.
‘I know where my son is honey, but he asked me not to tell. He knew you’d come. I don’t know what you did to my son, but you changed him grandly and I’m grateful for that’
‘I’m about to get married. Like, in two weeks. Sheldon left because…I need to see him. Please?’
Mary smiled warmly and let her in. Penny looked around, soft feelings overwhelming her as she thought about a kid Sheldon growing up, playing and discovering physics in the living room, his big blue eyes everywhere. She smiled to herself, this time honestly and followed Mary Cooper upstairs. They were heading to Sheldon’s bedroom. Wait. What? He wasn’t supposed to be here. But when they entered, Mary designed the bedroom and left Penny there.
‘Mom, I told you I didn’t want to be disturbed while I take some clothes and…oh’
For the first time ever, Sheldon Lee Cooper was speechless. Penny’s heart was beating fast against her chest, warmness invading her body. He was gorgeous, wearing a black suit with a grey shirt, his eyes popping out. Wow, she certainly not expected that.
‘Hi Sheldon’ she sing-sang, her mood suddenly lighter, ‘I thought you weren’t going to mamma?’
Sheldon sighed and Penny realized how much she missed him in only two days.
‘I am not, but I didn’t take into account that I’d be missing some clothes. I had to go here because I have only suits left. I miss my shirts’
‘You look good in those though. The suit I mean’
Sheldon stared at her for a few seconds and Penny shivered.
‘Penny, may I require why you are here? I assume it’s not because you wondered what my mother was up to’
‘No. Sheldon, you left me a note’
‘I most certainly did’
‘In which you said you had feelings for me’
‘I remember correctly I did mention feelings. That doesn’t explain your presence’
‘Really Sheldon? You have no clues at all?’
He shrugged and Penny couldn’t help but think how cute he looked. He was so innocent.
‘I need to make things clear’ she explained, joining her hands together.
‘What do you mean?’
‘I’m getting married in two weeks and I need to know if I’m ready for it. I want you to be there. Before you object, I really do. Please come back’
‘Penny, I made myself clear. At least, I thought I did. I do have feelings for you and I can’t see you get married. Now please go or tell me why you’re really here’
Penny opened her mouth but no sound came out. Instead she took a step closer, invading his personal space. She wrapped her arms around his neck. He stiffened a little but let her touch him. She pulled him closer and kissed him full on the lips. They both lost balance and fall on the bed but didn’t break contact. Sheldon was broken, she thought, horrified because he haven’t objected and he was kissing her back. Then her mind stopped thinking because it was happening. She knew why she came. She needed to see, to feel, to know. Her shirt and short were taken off quickly while her hands unzipped his pants and shirt. They were breathing fast, her cheeks burning. She took a time checking him out. Boy the man was perfect. Not very strong but his arms were amazing, his chest soft and his muscles here. She smiled and kissed him everywhere she could. He was shaking but she was sure it was because of the pleasure he was experiencing. Big ol’ five in control. But then his hands stopped her and he was on her in a fraction of a heartbeat. His blue eyes were intense and she shivered. She could come at any minute and he haven’t been inside of her yet. He probably understood because he opened her thighs with his fingers, his touch gentle but firm. He was a scientist after all, he knew the body like no one else. Then he buried deep inside of her and she groaned with satisfaction. She gripped the covers and closed her eyes. He was moving slow then accelerated like he was reading in her mind.
‘Oh my God Sheldon!’
She had tears in her eyes, a feeling she had never felt before. She’s never been so complete. Then after what felt an hour he slowed down and released her. She sighed loudly, trying to catch her breath. He rolled over next to her, breathing fast.
‘That’s what I missed for so long?’ she asked, laughing. Sheldon just stared at the ceiling but she saw the glimpse of a smile on his lips.
‘That is why you came?’ he asked, chuckling.
‘No…’ she started, and that was true, ‘but I can’t deny that I imagined how it’d be. I’m not regretting one bit!’
Then a funny thing happened. They both laughed. Penny’s phone rang. She was still laughing when she answered.
‘Penny Moon!’ she sing-sang, her mood lighter than ever.
‘Hey baby, sounds like you’re having fun’ replied Marc a little off.
‘Oh. Hi babe…’
Sheldon widened his eyes, sighed and got up. Penny bit her lip, embarrassed and guilty.
‘Where are you?’ Marc asked strongly. She flinched.
‘I…can’t tell you. I’m in Texas’
‘I know that! But you’re about to be my wife! Are you coming at the wedding at all?’
‘How can you say that? Of course I do! I made a promise!’
She was crying now. She saw Sheldon putting his shirt and pants on, his face stern and she tried to tell him that she was sorry, that she didn’t want to hurt him. He nodded, like he already knew and she wanted to hug him and kiss him, that her feelings were true but she couldn’t…
‘So…when are you coming back?’
‘Today’ she said automatically, ‘I’m coming home today’
Then she saw the most horrifying thing: Sheldon’s face fell, tears in his big blue eyes and he stormed out of the bedroom. Penny gasped, excused herself to Marc, making sure to say ‘I love you’, put her clothes on and followed him, running.
