I don't understand why some people, after all this years, are still ripping on South Park.
People who, after all this years, still don't like South Park because they think the show is HORRENDOUS, CRUDE, INSULTING, POINTLESS and God! if I type down anymore I'll just get more pissed!!!
Seriously! Its been 14 seasons and we're still going on about this issue ! GIVE IT A REST!
Ok, I admit that every episode has a lot of cursing and dirty jokes but if you turn the other cheek and take a look at the show with an open mind you'll notice the good parts of the show. you'll see that each episode has a deeper meaning and it actual teaches a good lesson.
Take a look at how the show tackles real life issues that's faced by children and adults today. Take a damn, good look!
South Park about divorce
Randy: See, your mother and I still care about you and your sister. But we just don't like being around each other any more.
Stan: Well, I don't like being around my sister anymore; does that mean I can leave her, too?
Randy: Well, no, because you're a family! You just can't leave family; you have to stick with family, no matter what.
Stan: But you and Mom are family; how come you can just split up? You know what I think? I think that when you and Mom got married, you became family. And now that you are, you shouldn't be able to leave her anymore than I can leave my sister.

South Park about Homosexuality
“I'm not gonna be confused anymore just because you say I should be! My name is Butters, I'm eight years old, I'm blood type O, and I'm bicurious! And even that's okay! Because if I'm bicurious, and I'm somehow made from God, then I think your GOD must be a little bicurious himself!"
South Park about Parenting
“Let's say it's all made up, and Mr. Jefferson is just a nice guy who's trying to be a child because he never got to have what he wanted in his childhood. Well that's fine, except for that he HAS children now! And when people have children, they have to grow up!”
"I think that if parents would spend less time worrying about what their kids watch on TV and more time worrying about what’s going on in their kids’ lives, this world would be a much better place.”
South Park about Hypocrisy
“People like you preach tolerance and open-mindedness all the time, but when it comes to Middle America, you think we're all evil and stupid country yokels who need your political enlightenment! Well, just because you’re on TV doesn’t mean you know crap about the government! Now get your ass back on first class and respect this class’s right to make up their own mind.”
South Park about Life
“Now children, listen to me. Why do you want to go back in time? Life isn’t about going back. It’s about going forward. Yes, there are times in our lives that we wish we could relive but if we already lived them perfectly, why live them again? The adventure of life is that there’s always something new - new challenges, new experiences. A fun game is a game that gets harder as it goes. So it is with life. Do you understand?”
And, most importantly, South Park about God
“God doesn't want you to spend all your time being afraid of hell, or praising His name. God wants you to spend your time helping others, and living a good, happy life. That's how you live for Him.”
“Just because God doesn't answer your prayers doesn't mean he doesn't care about you.”
“God can't just answer every prayer and suddenly give you everything you want. That takes all the living out of life.”
Hard to believe that those quotes came from a show that's supposed to be disgusting and crude, huh?
Well maybe you should look at the show with an open mind! And if this doesn't work, if people like you still believe that the show is nothing but "fart jokes" and "bad language" and if you are too blinded by your own intolerance and can't ever see the true dept and intelligence of this amazing cartoon, then fine!
Go ahead and don't like the show.
Go ahead and don't like the songs from the show.
If you don't like it then fine just don't go around insulting it in front of people who do!
