It seems as if our nation has forgot today is the day we are celebrating Veterans Day (it's actually tomorrow but the Govt is doing it today, hence the banks closed, no school, etc

I knew about it. They are having a parade, but I also live across the street from the VA hospital. I talked to my dad about it this weekend, several people at work mentioned it... We actually don't get the day off, though.
We have so many holidays and things that I think sometimes people just forget because they have 98738957385 other things going on as well.
This economy sinking probably isn't helping. Information overload is probably a huge part of it.
