So my letter to the Glendale Newspress/LA Times was published yesterday. Woohoo! Initially I expected it to be printed in the Letters to the Editor section, but instead I was "upgraded" to the Community Commentary section. Although they may not be looking at public schools, they should. Burbank Unified has some strong schools that should be considered.
In terms of secular private schools, the only one that comes to mind is Westridge School for Girls in Pasadena. It is an excellent school. The tuition for a primary grade education, however, is over $16k.
