Evan weighs 22lbs 2 oz and is 30" long. Tomorrow we are off to the cardiologist to check his murmur. We (the pediatrician) are pretty sure it is innocent though.

We had Evan's first birthday party yesterday along with my father's 58th. Evan's was at lunch and dad's was at dinner. The ENTIRE family came up to Wilmington. Marti, Ed, and the 2 boys stayed with us and the others stayed at a hotel in Wilmington. It was hectic, exhausting, and loads of fun! Evan had a blast with his cake. I will post ( Read more... )

I think I am going to live through this flu. I am doing much better. I had a little set back when I had to go to a memorial service for a baby that was born at 25 weeks and died minutes after birth. I felt like crap after that service and ended up feeling worse the next day. Today has been better. I will definitely be getting the flu shot next

I have the freaking flu!!! It is only a funny for you because you have heard me argue with Doug for years about not getting a flu shot. I told him before I went to the Dr. this morning that if I had the flu I would get a shot from now on. I feel like I am dying and he had to take off work to take care of Evan. What the hell these people are thinking when they try out for American Idol?!? I don't usually watch this show, but I do love the try-outs. Of course last year on bed rest and new baby I watched the whole thing, but I am not getting sucked into it this year.
