Yeah... The night I read your post (thursday night) my car was ALSO broken into. It was locked as well and no forced entry. They tried to take my radio but I guess they didn't have a screwdriver. They left my faceplate, extra tags in the back seat, money in the ashtray, fullsized spare tire, power drill, full ratchet set, jumper cables and posters. BUT they took my emergency road kit, first aid and window squeegie.

And because fingerprints on the outside of the car are inadmissable (as I was told by the NRH police), and the inside of my car is so textured that lifting prints off the inside would be well nigh unto impossible, there was no point to investigation, but I needed the incident report, as it happened at work.

Have the DL, student ID, the credit cards are in the mail, but the cell is taking a bit longer. It's in my sister's name, and that's just the easiest part of it. I'll give you the new number when I get it. This looks like it could take a while.

Life sucks when you have to start from scratch with nothing more than your birth certificate.
