Happy Fun Music Thing!

If you're bored, please choose a number between 1 and 2,404, and I shall tell you what song you are according to my iTunes playlist.

As always, I chose 137 (inverse alpha), and I ended up with "Be My Yoko Ono" by Barenaked Ladies. Not too shabby, although I was hoping for "What Is Love?" by Haddaway because that has become my unofficial theme song ( Read more... )

You get "Rock the House" by the Gorillaz, which may not be as cool as "What is Love", but is still a rockin' song. In fact, it's the song with the lyrics "Rock the Salsa":)

Aw, man, I was hoping it'd be "Spit" by John Murphy, but that's a very obscure Mac reference and I don't think anyone would get it. :(

You get "Wax Ecstatic" by Sponge. Great song! :D Although I've never been able to locate the "ecstatic" part of my body in order to remove the hair.

Hmmmm....how about 1985? (my birth year)

Wow, everyone's hitting up their birth years, so all I have to do is keep my playlist in one spot. ;)

Anyway, you get "Get Em Outta Here" by Sprung Monkey, which is more obscure and which I'm sure you don't recognize. But please don't get out of here, The Dave is awesome. :D

LOL! You're absolutely correct. I doubt I'd recognize any of the songs on the list....you know, being a country fan and all that :P

Hey now, it's a little known fact that I do have a few country songs on my list: John Anderson and Hank Williams and Slim Whitman and Gene Autry and Sons of the Pioneers and and and...well, you get the picture. ;)

And yeah, I realize it's all mostly old country stuff, but that's because they were from records that my mom used to play when I was growing up. :)

This is so totally cool! *loves things like this*

Now for my own personal curiosity, I HAVE to know what 1337 is...

And because it's my lucky number - 293 :)

Hmmm, the 1337 song isn't so 1337 - it's "Blame It On The Rain" by Milli Vanilli! X-D

And your song is "Stompin' At The Savoy" by Benny Goodman. I guess it isn't too bad if you like music from the 1930s. :)
