Went to see PJ Harvey last night. Awesome. Very stoked. I didn't have GA tix because ticketmaster are SHITHEADS so I was stuck in the seats at Festy Hall but I had an excellent view of the stage. She rocked

Was the set a mix of old and new or did she really focus on the new album?

actually much more old than new - not so much of the new album (maybe three?). A couple off Stories and Is This Desire and quite a few from the previous albums. Was good... have fun!

Many happily uncloseted lesbians were enjoying the gig greatly, as were many straight people, and possibly some closet lesbians. It seems she has broad appeal! Do I sense some male insecurity?

Since when does LJ have a lesbian following? I think you will find that yes, her audience is predominantly female, but these females are simply chicks that wish they could rock out with a guitar like she does. Since when is every girl who wishes she was the lead singer of a band a lesbian?
