As promised, here's my little list of first song lines...some should be easy (at least for danmeddy, a couple are a bit dorky (but still cool...really), a couple might be a bit obscure, not sure!

1. I got the style, but not the grace2. All my life is on me ( Read more... )

Sweet. nice one, tiger - and you half got the one I thought was pretty obscure...
2. bzzzt. nope - not even the right gender!
6. title of song correct - but not the Hoodoos...a considerably less well known group. LOVE the song. Ahh. sometimes the eighties did not suck.
9. yessss.... need the name of the track though (Robert Plant circa 1975 was so HOT)
11. well done! I think you deserve a biscuit. For effort.

oh,and has got to be one of the most programmed clips on Rage (but what a great clip!! - and has Alan Ginsberg in it as a drunk bum). along with the Specials- Ghost Train. And - a lineage of influence as follows:
- Subterranean Homesick Blues
- Pump it Up (Elvis Costello)
- Wild Wild West (??)
- Chicken Payback (the Bees)

been beat up and battered around,
been *something something* and been shot down,
*something something something* over exposed commercialised,
and a wee with her.

i'm so tired of bein' lonely, i still have some love to give,
won't you show me that you really care.

everybody's got somebody to leeeeeean ooowwn,
put your body, next to miiiine, and dreeeeeeeeaaaam ooown.

ok, sorry about that, i had to sing the song to myself, and i still don't know the name of the song, but didn't they call themselves The Travelling Willburys or something? It has George and The Big O in it anyways.

is that enough info to get me over the line?

LOL! and a wee with her?! That's a genuine (selfaware, i suspect) kiss this guy moment, dude. The name of the song is what you're mishearing as 'and a wee with her'... have a final bash and if it's even slightly close I'll give it to you. It is the Travelling Wilburys, who were: Bob Dylan, The Big O, Gerge Harrison, Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne.

haha ah ah ha! did you knot think it a bit out of context? It's 'handle me with care'. Track is actually called Handle With Care.
