Hurricane Sandy looks like it's going to be a monster, especially when it collides with the high pressure system now over the east coast.

To my family, my LJ friends, to everybody in this storm's path - my thoughts and prayers are with you. Be careful and stay safe.

I'm in the storm's path, and I'm really nervous. We had a huge storm at around this time last year and my town canceled Halloween because there were still downed power lines, and we lost power for a week.

So if I'm not around much in the coming week, that'll probably be why!

I remember last year, and this storm may be even worse if the forecasters are right. I know you're in it's path, as are many of my cousins.

I'm worried about all of you. Hopefully it won't be as severe as they predict.
