As I sit here, surfing and reading, I came across an extremely welcome bit of news:

Chef is coming to DVD!!!

This is a HYSTERICAL British comedy that I discovered around the same time as Black Adder. The main character is a brilliant chef and and absolute tyrant over his kitchen. Of course, his staff is well...umm...challenged in many ways. :) ( Read more... )

Gregory Maguire has written a sequel to Wicked!

I normally don't trust sequels written for what seem to initially be complete stories that don't NEED continuation, but as usual, Maguire seems to have come up with a great great hook.
