out of building pass

i leave school early about once or twice a month for doctors appointments or family events. Legitimate things. I usually just leave school and bring in a note the next day no problem. However with the new cutting/detention rules i really don't want MORE cuts and i was told that i can avoid these by getting an out of building pass. Has anyone

once i had to skip 8th and 9th for a doctors appointment, so i went to get an out of the building pass after 7th, but it took so long i was actually late for my appointment. it's such bullshit
